आज आपल्या Junior College (Commerce) च्या अकरावी बारावीच्या विद्यार्थिनींनी "अनामप्रेम" या संस्थेला भेट देऊन त्यांच्यासमवेत दिवाळी साजरी केली. या माध्यमातून सहवेदनेचा एक उत्तम संस्कार आपण मुलींमध्ये रुजविण्यात नक्कीच यशस्वी झालो. तेथील अंध बांधवांबरोबर गप्पा मारल्या. त्यांच्यासाठी रांगोळी काढली, आकाशदिवे लावले , त्या संस्थेसाठी धान्य-फराळ -मिठाई नेली. एक प्रकारे त्या बांधवांची आयुष्य उजळवून टाकण्याचा प्रयत्न केला.

सूर्यकुलाशी ज्यांचे नाते, त्यांनी थोडा उजेड द्यावा... युगायुगांचा अंधार जेथे, पहाटेचा गाव न्यावा....

अशा साजऱ्या केलेल्या दीपोत्सवाची काही क्षणचित्रे ... ..

Raksha Bandhan at Peraplagic Rehabilitation Centre

Our school has arranged a Rakshabandhan celebration at the Peraplagic rehabilitation centre, Khadki on 30th August, 2023 Wednesday at morning 10 o'clock for the students of class 11th and 12th of Huzurpaga English Medium Junior College, Laxmi road.

This is one of the oldest centres of rehabilitation. This centre provides free facilities to the injured soldiers for physiotherapy treatment, vocational training to prepare the residents to take up employment, access to a workshop with machines for taking up industrial jobs, games, and sports, computer labs, arts & crafts, as well as transportation facilities.

Then our students tied rakhi to the soldiers. Meanwhile, for some time students had talked with soldiers and also guided for the future recruitment in the NDA sector as there are many vacancies available for the women also. Then students presented some speeches and poems for the soldiers in Marathi, Hindi and English also written by students in front of them. Later on our principal madam had talked with the soldiers for saying thank you from our school. Our Principal madam also expressed her Gratitude towards coordinator and head medical representative for giving us the opportunity to celebrate at the army centre raksha Bandhan with soldiers. Afterwards we saw mouth paintings done by the soldiers and also the trophies which they have won by playing sports on the wheelchairs. It was such a great initiative taken by our school and our principal to encourage students and to become social to learn many things around us. As only studying is not part of our education, this is one of the great life examples. Mr. Wagh sir also was there who guided us with information to students and took initiative for all the arrangements.

After visiting this centre students not only got encouragement to do something for the country but also wanted to become a part of the Army while choosing their careers in the future.

Today our students also came to know that "Willpower is the key to success." As without body parts, if a person can play sports and do art with their mouth also beautifully then with fitness why it's impossible. So today's day made our students as well as teachers Very proud moment as an Indian citizen.

Career Guidance Session

Hujurpaga English Medium Jr. college Laxmi Road has conducted career guidance lectures for 11th and 12th standard students in the assembly hall.Sayali Limaye - Chartered Accountant from Success academy and their team members were there to conduct this session.

The aim of the session was to provide proper guidance to students about choosing their path while walking on the road of their educational life. The lecture was effective and fruitfull In this lecture students came to know that only graduation is not sufficient for great achievement. So our college has taken great initiative for guiding junior college students which will definitely help them for their future.

Mock AGM

Students of Huzurpaga English Medium School and junior college (11th standard) organised a Mock AGM on 20th March 2023.

Meeting was properly conveyed and dually conducted. It started at 1:30 p.m. and ended at 3:00 p.m. Meeting was properly conveyed by sending 21 days prIor notice to all the students Notice was properly drafted along with Agenda of the meeting. AGM started with one PowerPoint presentation.

Two detectors, chairman along with 15 other shareholders were present during the meeting.

Meeting started with the chairman speech followed by reading of notice and minutes and rest of the matters where discussed as per the agenda . shareholders cast votes for appointment of a director. Then resolution for appointment of a director was passed.

Meeting was concluded with vote of thanks by secretary.

It was indeed a good practical experience for Commerce students the entire event took place in the presence of Hon. Principal Priyadarshani Purohit mam and Supervisor Swati Lad teacher.

Students shared their experiences during conversation with principal mam attracting her appreciations. It was a memorable event for students as it was a great practical experience for them.
